All products purchased from the GIM Computers online store will be shipped via Federal Express (FedEX) or United Parcel Service (UPS) within 48 hours of your purchase. We are currently unable to ship items over 5lbs.  Please check back regularly for changes.


All in-store returns must be made within 10 calendar days of purchase with receipt.  All online returns must be made within 14 calendar days of purchase with receipt and must be authorized by GIM in advance.  Items must be in original condition and in original packaging with all CDs, manuals and contents.

  • No return or refund on Special Order Parts or Customized Systems after order is placed.  No return on sealed retail box parts after opening.

  • No returns on software, printers, media, labor or used systems & merchandise.

  • Copies of invoices are NOT kept on our premises.

  • Duplicate invoice fee: $25.00 per invoice.

Parts Warranty:

  • Warranty will be carried out either by repair or replacement at the discretion of GIM Computers.  HDD, retail boxed CPU chips and retail boxed components are warrantied through the manufacturer after 10 days.  Any parts with visible physical damage or burns are not warrantied. Improper installation of parts will void warranty and may result in diagnostic fees.

Systems Warranty:

  • 1 Year Limited Parts:  In-store swap for 30 calendar days from purchase.  After that, we will RMA parts for up to 1 year.  Warranty will be carried out either by repair or replacement at the discretion of GIM Computers.
  • 3 Year Limited In-Store Labor:  Hardware functional warranty for 1st year, labor discount for 2nd and 3rd year.  Not responsible for and will not warranty and compatability issues that are caused by any OS or customer-installed software.  No warranty on any Windows, software or environmental problems.
*All Platinum Systems carry a 3 Year Limited Parts and 3 Year Limited Labor Warranty.

*No warranty on wear and tear.


  • No refund on Special Orders after order is placed.

  • Refund on parts: Parts must be returned within 10 calendar days and must be in resale condition with all original packaging.

  • Refund on Standard Systems*: Systems must be returned within 10 calendar days.  A 15% restocking fee PLUS a $39 assembly fee will be charged.

  • Refund on Customized Systems:  No return, no refund, final sale.


  • All Trades are FINAL.

  • All sales of used items are FINAL.

  • All sales of clearance items are FINAL.

  • Refunds will be made in the same form of payment as the original purchase.

  • 90 days labor warranty on all services.

  • "Days" are defined as calendar days.

  • "Standard Systems" are defined as any computer system on our website or in-store fliers without changes or upgrades.
